What an incredible work of photo-manipulation. This piece is exquisite in just about every way imaginable. The centerpiece of the image is not only epic, but it is finely crafted as an intrinsic part of the photograph itself.

The concept of the image is excellent with the statue holding up the castle, reminiscent of the Greek Titan Atlas, holding up Earth. The castle is another wonderful piece of work, detailed and well blended into the rest of the scene, a perfect fit for the rock spire it sits on.

Overall the technique of this picture is astonishing. I was able to find one single blemish in the frothy sea underneath the lower left nook of the rock, where a hard edge can be seen between white froth and green sea. Shadows and highlights are nicely done, and fit well together despite not being in perfect alignment.
